Your Mission

Nacka Municipality has twelve group and service housing facilities for adults according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). In these homes, our clients live in their own apartments with access to social interaction in common areas. As a summer temporary worker, you will provide support and service to our clients in various aspects of their lives and daily routines. The focus is always on the clients and creating conditions for safety, personal development, and good living conditions. We adapt to the individual needs and respect each client's wishes and preferences. The job includes daily documentation and close collaboration with relatives.

Tasks are varied, including support and service with:

• Personal care, hygiene, and medication
• Shopping and cooking
• Daily and weekly planning
• Various leisure activities

Introduction is always provided before starting work. We offer you the opportunity to work during the day, evening, weekends, and on-call shifts, and you can also choose your own employment rate.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is required that you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Have good language skills in Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Have good physical ability

It is an advantage if you have previous relevant experience and education in the field.

Even though we work a lot in teams, you need to be able to work independently with clients and feel secure with the responsibilities it entails. You see it as a given to have the client's perspective in focus, and you are responsible and reliable.

As a temporary worker, you will be employed by the Competence Supply Unit within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing for care personnel during short-term absences and monthly temporary positions. As a summer temporary worker, you will work in one or more of our operations depending on how much you want to work this summer. We also offer you the opportunity to work as a substitute both before and after your summer position.

To create continuity for our clients, you should be able to work for a longer continuous period from June to September. You are also expected to attend an introduction in the spring.
